Summer Reading Finale Party
Saturday, August 2, 11-3 pm
Join us as we celebrate a summer full of color & reading! There will be music, games, foam to play in, glitter tattoos & balloon animals. The Pizza Stop food truck will also be there so you can pick up lunch for your family and party with the library in library square!
Period Awareness Class
Monday, August 4 @ 4 pm
We'll be hosting a special period awareness class on Monday, August 4 at 4 pm. Hayley Neil from Womb Honey will be sharing great information about puberty and period prep for girls and their parents.
Recipe of the Month Club
Available 1st Thursday each month
Explore a world of flavor with the library! Pick up a recipe, key ingredient & reading list at the library. Available on the 1st Thursday each month.
Teen Dungeons & Dragons
Teens 13-18, Wednesdays from 5-7 pm
Delve into dangerous caves, climb perilous peaks, strategize with your trusty party--or eat some stinky cheese. The story you experience is up to you and your dice! Come have some fun and play with your friends.
Stitch & Stories
Thursdays @ 1 pm
Bring your fiber crafts to the library and listen to stories while you stitch. Knitting, crochet, embroidery, tatting, quilting... whatever your preference. A book club for fiber artists!
Teen Saturdays @ the Library
12+ @ Noon
Teens are invited to join us for fun Saturday activities at the library!
1st Saturday: Library Summer Reading Finale Party 11-3 pm
2nd Saturday: Find out how to get involved, learn what Cache Humane Society does, and pet a friendly pup!
3rd Saturday: Reduce plastic bag use! Design a reusable tote bag. Stencils provided or create your own design!
Conversaciones/Conversations
Thursdays @ 5-6 pm
Practice your Spanish/Practice your English at the Library.
Practice Spanish with native speakers and help them practice their English. Learn with new friends!
Crafts with CAPSA
August 12 @ 4 pm ages 12+
Make a tie dyed tee-shirt with Capsa and learn about confidence building, upstanding, and emotional resilience.
Storytime w/ Capsa
3rd Tuesday each month @ 10:30 am
Capsa will be at the library each month sharing stories to empower children along with a fun craft! PreSchool children and their caregivers are invited to join us for these fun storytimes.
