Recipe of the Month Club
Available 1st Thursday each month
Explore a world of flavor with the library! Pick up a recipe, key ingredient & reading list at the library. Available on the 1st Thursday each month.

Storytimes at the Library
Children are invited to join us at the library for stories, songs, rhymes, puppets and fun! While all children are welcome, each group is created with a focus on age appropriate developmental skills of the intended audience. Caregivers attending with their children should plan to engage with them during storytime. Space is limited to 50 people and popular programs fill up quickly. Tickets are available 30 minutes before storytime begins. If you or your children are feeling ill, please stay home until you are better. This will help keep storytime and our presenters healthy.
Toddler Time: Wednesdays @ 10:30 am
This program is intended for children 18 months to 3 years old and focuses on their developmental needs with lots of songs, visual elements and movement.
Book Babies: Thursdays @ 1:00 pm
Book babies is for our newest library users 0-18 months old. It features 20 minutes of guided rhymes and movement intend to give caregivers knowledge and tools to help their babies on their pre-reading journey. Time is available afterwards for playing and connecting with other caregivers.

PreSchool Storytime: Fridays @ 10:30 am
Preschool storytime is intended for kids 3+ and focuses on listening skills along with fun rhymes, songs and interactive movements.
La Hora de Cuentos/Bilingual Storytime 2nd Tuesday monthly @ 10:30
Elizabeth Rivera from USU's MIECHV will be presenting a fun storytime in Spanish/English at the library.
Storytime with Capsa: 3rd Tuesdays @ 10:30 am
Read fun stories and do a craft about confidence-building with a member of CAPSA's education team. These stories will help teach children about what confidence looks like, how we can develop it ourselves, and how being kind to others can increase their confidence.
Ballet Storytime: Tuesday, March 24 ! 10:30 am
Ballet Aligned will be presenting a fun dancing storytime featuring the upcoming children's ballet performance of The Velveteen Rabbit.

Music and Movement
Wednesdays @ 1 pm
Join us as we focus on early literacy through movement, songs, stories, dance, and exploration of musical concepts and instruments. Children and their caregivers can join Miss Karen for 30 minutes of fun exploring music and dance together! For ages 2+ with an adult caregiver.

Dungeons & Dragons
Teens 13-18 Wednesdays from 5-7 pm
Tweens 10-12 2nd Friday each month @ 2:30 pm
Delve into dangerous caves, climb perilous peaks, strategize with your trusty party--or eat some stinky cheese. The story you experience is up to you and your dice! Come have some fun and play with your

Spanish Class
Thursdays @ 5-6 pm
Come and learn basic Spanish at the Library.

Stitch & Stories
Thursdays @ 1 pm
Bring your fiber crafts to the library and listen to stories while you stitch. Knitting, crochet, embroidery, tatting, quilting... whatever your preference. A book club for fiber artists!

Discovery Day
Mondays 10:30 - Noon
Discovery Day is our preschool program to explore STEAM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. STEAM education is pivotal for young minds. STEM ignites curiosity, nurtures play & fosters critical thinking in children. This is a drop in program where preschool kids and their caregivers can enjoy activities created for their development.

Kids Club
2nd & 4th Mondays @ 4 pm
Kids 6-11 can join us twice a month for super fun STEM activities at the library!
We have space for 25 participants at these activities. Tickets will be available to pick up at the main circulation desk 15 minutes before we begin.

Adult Crafternoons
2nd & 4th Tuesdays @ 1 pm
Adult can craft while chatting and listening to music or stories, every 2nd & 4th Tuesdays @ 1 pm.
2nd Tuesdays will be a craft along project with supplies and instructions provided by the Library.
4th Tuesdays will be a relaxing coloring day. Bring your own coloring supplies of use the provided library coloring tools

Girls Who Code
1st and 3rd Mondays from 4:00-5:30 PM
Girls in grades 6-12: join our super-cool after-school club to learn about coding, technology, and sisterhood! There will be snacks!

Book Dragons
A book club for kids in 3rd - 6th grades
1st Tuesdays @ 4:30 pm
This is a fun book club for older elementary students. We'll discuss a book together with fun activities and snacks. Pick up the book we are reading this month at the library.
Reading Rangers
A book club for kids in kindergarten - 2nd grade
3rd Tuesdays @ 4 pm
Kids are invited to come talk about the book of the month, literary devices, vocabulary and do a fun activity together themed on what we read. Sign-up in the children's library. Space is limited to 24 participants. Books will be available to borrow one month before book club. Books are limited, so we encourage them to be returned when you finish reading so others on our waiting list can have a chance to read.
Adult Book Club
3rd Thursday of each month at 9:30 am

Tasting Club
3rd Tuesday each month @ 5 pm
Teens are invited to put their taste buds to the test at our teen tasting club. Try all kinds of delicacies like pie, sour candies, chips, cheeses... and rank them in order of deliciousness!
Registration is needed to attend and available at the library.

Homeschool Parent Support Group
2nd Monday of each month @ 5:30 pm,
Local homeschooling parent, Karlee Thompson, will be facilitating this support group for homeschooling parents. Leave your kids at home and connect with other homeschooling families for understanding, connection and support.

Seed Starting Workshop
Saturday, March 14 @ 11 am
"If you plant them, they will grow!"
Local gardening enthsiast & master gardner Kelly Rovegno will be walking us through the process of starting seeds indoors for spring planting. Seeds will be available to borrow from the library' Michael Neilson Seed Garden!

Inter-Mountain Song Trails
Saturday, March 21 @ 11 am
Archivist Joe Kinzer, folklore curator in the Fife Folklore Archives, will be at the library... The public is invited to come learn about this song preservation project and share their musical memories.

Meet the Worms!
Saturday, March 28 11 am - 1 pm
Join us for an exciting worm party at the library. We are going to be the home for a group of Red Wiggler composting worms. Come meet our new worms, learn about our new composting bin and celebrate all things wormy.
