Utah's Online Public Library provides provides free access to educational and recreational resources: Beehive Library Consortium (Libby) eBooks and audiobooks, CreativeBug, EBSCOhost research databases, Novelist reading recommendations, LearningExpress Library, Utah Newspapers, and more!

Libby is a reading app for borrowing digital books and audiobooks from the library's OverDrive collection. This free app, created by OverDrive, is available for Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch), and Windows 10 devices. Libby is highly recommended for those new to borrowing eBooks and eAudiobooks.

Book Buzz is a program you can use, through the Smithfield Library, to get multiple copies of books for your book club. To use, go to the Utah State Library's Book Buzz page. You will find over 500 titles to choose from! Once you've selected the title your club wants to try, come to the library and fill out our Book Buzz form. The library will order the books and will contact you when they are ready to borrow. You can order up to 15 copies of each title and keep them for up to 8 weeks. Reservations can be made up to 1 year in advance. We request $1 per book to help cover shipping costs. Visit the library to take advantage of this great resource.

Utah Newspapers is a digital newspaper service of the Utah Press Association (UPA). The UPA Archive provides public access to all of Utah's local newspapers. Each newspaper is a fully-searchable PDF that you can print or download. Search all of Utah's newspapers by keyword or filter by newspaper, city, county, or zip code.
