600 E (Crow Mtn Road) from 700 - 800 North Infrastructure Work

INVITATION TO BID

The City of Smithfield Utah has been awarded funding for water and road improvements as a sponsor for Neighborhood Nonprofit Housing Corporation and invites bids for the infrastructure of 600 E (Crow Mountain Road) approximately 700 to 800 N Smithfield. 

The work includes installing a new waterline from an eight-inch (8”) line to a twelve-inch (12”) waterline and including road infrastructure. This includes approximately 500 linear feet of asphalt, curb, and gutter. 

This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendance laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses. 

Bidding documents and specifications may be obtained from Smithfield City located at 96 South Main Smithfield, UT 84335, beginning September 30,  2022 at 9:00 A.M. If award is not made within 90 days of Davis Bacon Wage Decision notice, the wages are subject to change.

Sealed bids must be received at Smithfield City, Attn: 600 E Project, 96 South Main UT 84335 on or before October 18, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the city office.
